TRE ‘bowl out’ OUA

TR Engineering (TRE) defeated OUA Enhance in a bowl out when the two teams clashed in a Raha Poly Products-sponsored ‘D’ Division T20 match played at the OAC IV grounds.

Batting first OUA Enhance made a brisk start with openers skipper Anand Pathi 54 (25 balls, 12 fours) and his teammate Sharad Krishnamoorthy 45 (34 balls, 1 six and 4 fours) putting together a 81 run partnership off 7 overs. TR Engineering in reply restricted to 179 for the loss of 8 wickets off the 20 overs with Omani batsman Sharif Pindook top scoring of 56 (7 fours). In the bowl out that followed skipper Anup Kumar and Mohammed Asjad Shah hit the stumps for TR Engineering while only Sharad Krishnamoorthy was successful for OUA Enhance.

ISC Bhojpuri win

ISC Bhojpuri Wing registered a six wicket win against Al Hassan in an Omzest Mercedes-sponsored ‘E’ Division T20 match played at the same venue during the afternoon session.

Batting first Al Hassan reached 167 for the loss of 7 wickets off the 20 stipulated overs.

ISC Bhojpuri Wing in their turn made 168 for the loss of 4 wickets off 19 overs. Javed Behlim top scoring with a solid 88 (47 balls, 1 six and 16 fours)

MCCC win

Muscat Cricket Coaching Centre (MCCC) registered a thrilling 18 run win against Al Habib in a ‘G’ Division T20 match played at the University. Batting first MCCC piled on 202 for the loss of 5 wickets off the 20 overs.

Omani batsman Mohammed Ali top scored with 66 (39 balls, 11 fours). In reply Al Habib were bowled out for 184 off 19.5 overs.

Brief Scores: MCCC – 202 for the loss 5 wickets beat Al Habib – 184 all out. Points: MCCC — 2 points (2 games — 4 points) and Al Habib – Nil points (2 games – Nil points).

HJB lose

Arabian Industries ‘B’ trounced R.K. Group by 9 wickets in another Hasan Juma Backer Contracting & Trading Company LLC-sponsored ‘G’ Division T20 match. Batting first R.K. Group were bundled out for 89 runs off 16.3 overs with wides being the highest contributor 25. In reply Arabian Industries raced to 90 for the loss of 1 wicket off 9.2 overs.

Brief Scores: R.K. Group – 89 all out lost to Arabian Industries ‘B’ – 90 for the loss of 1 wicket. Points: Arabian Industries – 2 points and R.K. Group – Nil points.

OAC II, III & IV grounds are in a very bad condition. outfields are so muddy and filled with stones, one can hurt himself while fielding. OCC is not showing any responsibility in rectifying the grounds. if some player gets hurt coz of this ignorance what the officials will do? OCC is charging more than 330 per team (for junior division) and more for the upper division teams. who gets the benefits?! OCC is providing only 2 umpires and 2 balls that also low cost balls. There is no official scorer, no drinks/snacks is being provided, no score board changer? all these things must take care by the respective teams, even after paying this much money to the OCC?! REQUEST TO OCC... ATLEAST GIVE US A GOOD GROUND TO PLAY... DO SOME WORK, PUT A ROLLER OR COMPACTOR TO CLEAN THE OUTFIELD... IF SOMEONE GETS HURTS DUE TO THE NEGLIGENCE.... WELL ??!!!!!!!!!!!1

what you are saying man this not all i was player and a member of occ but what they give me only weasting my time to play my country . we wait along to something like training we train one day in 1month what they want to not get improve do you by our self we built a pitch and ground without there help and governament help we done this because we want to improve our self and improve this game in our country which has many players but one of them get governament support. thanks brother

what is this where is omani players where they are . Are they in jail because of occ high members who not want to come omani player in first place this mean they not want omani players improve by making presser on them that all to occ that not care of any omani players only few
